Summary:
Library management and student supervision.
Reports to building principal.
DUTIES/PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS -
Essential Functions:
1.
Assist in supervision of students with entry level computer/tech programs (Typing Pal, creating Google slides and online research programs) as an extension of both tech and library programs.
2.
Assists with overall operation of the library, as required.
This includes, but is not limited to, assisting with the following tasks:
a.
Ordering and maintaining books.
b.
Assist with issuing daily notices to homeroom teachers concerning overdue books and collecting fines for such books.
c.
Maintaining current magazines and newspapers for shelving.
d.
Year-end inventory of books and audio visual materials.
e.
Keeping current inventory of existing and needed supplies; keeping library neat and orderly.
f.
Supervision of students.
g.
Maintaining appropriate student discipline; assisting with building attendance program; and a file of library patrons.
3.
Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
4.
Maintains valid educational aide certificate.
5.
Demonstrates positive and supportive relationships with students and staff.
5.
Performs other duties required in job description and as assigned by supervisor(s)
Qualifications:
Valid Ohio Educational Aide Certificate (obtained prior to starting position).
Must possess valid Ohio driver's license.
Must pass criminal background check.

Benefits:
According to the current negotiated agreement.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
